SHE'S STILL GOT IT

MY LONG BELOVED IDOL, NICOLE RICHIE, was in london recently to receive an award at the uk glamour magazine women of the year event. i love following not only her fashion but her life, an interest of mine since i was 15. she has entered a new phase in her life with children and a husband and her fashion is definitely different now, but it's always exciting for me to see a paparazzi shot of nicole leaving a club and looking amazing - must find myself a dress like this.

i love these photos as they show two very different sides, a light hearted side of the famous designer and a serious hard working woman. in each photo she maintains that high level of sophistication.

NATURE OF FASHION

i actually loved pretty much every piece in this editorial. the warmth of the shades. the delicacy of the garments crossed with the relaxed messed hair of daria makes me want to be in her shoes and not just because they happen to be amazing ones but because of the messing around in the field, in the middle of nowhere.
