HOLLY GOLIGHTLY

when i first saw breakfast at tiffany's i fell in love. i watched it once, twice, three times in one day. i memorised the words to "moon river", started wearing my dad's white shirts around the house and tried unsuccessfully to rename my cat "Cat". i have lots of movies i love, but the allure of holly golightly will never fade. of course i adore nearly all of audrey hepburn's movies, but it's the mix of fragility and elegance in holly golightly that makes breakfast at tiffany's my favourite movie. 

i think there is a bit of holly in all girls, so to those who haven't seen this wonderful movie - watch it.

so here's to sunday mornings with elizabeth, a croissant and our lovely cats. just like holly, always trying to find our way.

loreal melbourne fashion festival.

this year the loreal melbourne fashion festival took place between sunday march 14 to sunday march 21, 2010.

I went to one sidewalk and one fashion show.

first show: unzipped

'The sidewalk will sizzle as Jockey, Bonds, Antz Pantz, Rio, Holeproof and Berlei present their latest underwear and intimates collections - it will be fun, it will be fabulous, it's fashion essentials at their runway best!

the show included Erin Mcnaught, Ruby Rose, the boys from Bondi, Nick Bracks, plus size models, dancing, one wanker of a male model and chihuahua's.

ENGLISH ROSES

though she's not my favourite model, this photo of rosie huntington-whiteley is absolutely captivating. with lips to rival angelina jolie's and a handsome older man, i am officially in love with her.

tonight elizabeth and i are heading out for one of our biggest nights in a while. the best nights are often never planned to be huge, but this is our first night of easter break. though admittedly neither of us are all that hard working, we still consider ourselves slaves to tertiary education and are thus deserving of a crazy night. i'm looking forward to forgetting everything i've learned so far this semester, i'll save my responsible study for third year thanks.
